      <title>Encore Designs; A History</title>
      <description>&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;font size="5"&gt;&lt;font size="4"&gt;History&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;font size="4"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In 1976, Linda Kiehle-Hannawalt began her career in fiber arts and in 1984 she founded Encore Designs and began her career as a textile artist. With intense love of color and design, Linda began designing hand-painted, quilted, reversable art apparel. In 1992 her focus changed to the design and creation of mosaic and stained glass functional art furniture. During a cruise to Alaska in 2005, Linda came across a quilt shop in Skagway Alaska and again, her interest in quilting was sparked.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Her expuisite, one-of-a-kind art quilts are beautiful, functional and fun. Linda hopes the world will enjoy her quilt-making journey.&lt;/font&gt;</description>
